Hi, I'm Kare. I am a homegrown chick from the Greater Seattle area. As an artist, writer, and creative visionary at heart, I dream up and create glass dome worlds, sculpture art and jewelry with purpose and intention in mind. My hope is that you find what draws you in and you set your own intentions with it's placement in your life or another's.

I also love when you just love it because you love it. That's happy, and that in itself is an intention.

a little background...

My inspiration for starting Boxes of Glass was the feeling of being "boxed.” Boxed by anxiety, by worry or fear, boxed by stigma or circumstance, opinions of others, and that useless feeling of being 'stuck.’ I wanted to express in art and design something beautiful, funky, weird or odd, something to evoke a conversation between strangers, or encourage a moment that might change all things for good. I suppose my true intention is to promote synergy, because what's more rad than those moments in life? Carry something forward. Spread it around. We all benefit from good vibes.
